Language coaching to cure all your problems
Trust me: I'm a Doctor!
This website is for native English-speakers who are studying or using Spanish in everyday life.
Also for native Spanish-speakers who are trying to master English.
I'm here to give you all sorts of tips and tricks that help you whichever language you are learning
You know there are many ways that English and Spanish are so similar that sometimes they're almost like ONE language: SPANGLISH
Como identificar common palabras para communicate mejor
No crees que ya hables y entiendas ingles?
Don't believe you CAN already speak and understand English?
First, identify all the words you recognise (primero: identifica todas las palabras conocidas). What do they mean in your language? (Que significan en tu idioma?)
revolutionary = revolucionario (adjective/adjetivo)
ideas = ideas (noun/sustantivo)
concepts = conceptos (noun/sustantivo)
radical = radical (adjective/adjetivo)
communinism = comunismo (noun/sustantivo)
impossible = imposible (adjective/adjetivo) - see more similar words
to sustain = sostener (verb/verbo)
You see, learning, speaking and using a language (especially English to Spanish) is a lot about using tricks, illusions... and guessing!
Some of my first Spanish learning material was from www.shortcuttospanish.com where they use this approach exactly: using words we already have in either of our respective languages
"Las ideas y conceptos revolucionarios de comunismo radical
son imposibles de sostener"
And then even though you may not know the correct word-order at first, you have enough vocabulary to 'guess' the overall meaning and 'communicate' (which is what it's all about, isn't it?)
Let me give you an example here:
"The revolutionary ideas and concepts of radical communism
are impossible to sustain"
